Weekly Challenge

Here are some of the most recent challenges…

Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?

What inner voice do you want your kids to hear? The same one you are listening to?

Don’t let the issues outside of your control stop you from addressing issues inside your control.

If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

What is your swearing/cussing, showing to others about your heart condition?

Don’t give up on your marriage.

It is said that there are 2 dogs fighting inside all of us. A good one and an evil one. The question is which one will win? It is obvious. It is the one you feed the most.

Ask yourself this question…What is controlling my heart?

How about changing your favourite four letter word for this one! LOVE! It’s far more affective.

Are you a faithful person?

Who do you need to show love & kindness to this week?

Do you know the Lord as your stronghold and place of Refuge?

Are you giving unconditional love to others?

“Real Change” starts in the heart! Are you willing to start?

Are you practicing what you preach?

 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”

Are the “unfair” issues of life making you Bitter OR Better?

Remember this week that God is bigger than all of us and He can do the impossible!

Be careful what voices you listen to because there is a continual battle for our minds.

Whatever you face this week, don’t forget. You are made in His image! God does not make junk! Man does that!

Watch your thoughts, for they become words…Choose your words, for they become actions…
Understand your actions, for they become your habits…Study your habits, for they become your character…
Develop your character, for it becomes your destiny.

Don’t forget this week… A smile and 5 minutes of your time can change a life.

Which do you give the most time to:  your image or your integrity?

Are you suffering in someway? Will you let God use it and you to help others?

Would you be happy to see your kids following in your footsteps?

Have you accepted the Greatest Gift of All?  Jesus!

Don’t forget. You may be the only Bible some will ever read.

Can you say…“God Will Bless You Someday!’

What’s coming out of the depths of your heart? Is it good or evil?

What is your greatest fear? Take it to Jesus in prayer. He will show you what to do with that fear.

Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?

What is your purpose in life? Are you living that purpose out?

Live your best, and act your best, and think your best each day, for there many be no tomorrows.

This week remember…Tears show we are alive and human. Don’t be afraid to shed them.

Let’s not forget how distructive our pride can be.

Don’t forget this week that you are a “Peace Officer”! Each job you are called to will need you!

What are you convinced you cannot live without?

How will you do when your patience is tested this week?

What kind of seeds are you planting?

When you speak this week, remember God is one of your listeners.

Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn’t give you credit.

Remember this week. We are here to serve others and not ourselves.

Do you see your work as a God given position? Do you understand that He wants to use you everyday?

Think this over….We were made by God for God, and without God I think life makes no sense…

Don’t forget… People are watching you. Make your Walk match your Talk.

We don’t know who around us is thinking about ending it all. They maybe looking for someone to just reach out to them. Let’s be that someone.

J.I.Packer wrote. “The victim of Calvary is now….loose and at large.” He knows you by name. Do you know Him?

Do you want a ”safe life” or a “significant life?”

How do you view  Adversity & Opposition? Are you running from them or growing through facing them?

Your life is powerful and passing. Use it wisely!

Don’t forget this week that people are watching you. What example are you showing? Is it a good one to follow?

What is your definition of Love? Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and see what Gods definition is.

Be known for who you are, not for what you own.

What do you want to be remembered for? Think about that.

Don’t let a cynical attitude control you. Take the risk on showing and giving unconditional love to someone.

Quit ignoring what’s going on inside of you. Seek some help.

Are you a person of integrity? If so, your steps should show it this week.

Dont forget the Power of our position this week. Your words and decisions can be life changing.

Think about Integrity this week not just your image.

What if today you were to meet “Your Maker.” Are you ready for that? What would you say if God were to ask you… Why should I let you into my heaven?

Don’t forget the power of your position;  it can change someone’s life.

Are your words seen as a sword or bringing healing? Think before you speak this week.

Let’s do all we can to stop evil, in word or deed. Let’s first start with ourselves. Watch your words and deeds this week!

Stop some time today and write out the things in your life you can be thankful for.

Would others call you a humble person?

Be kind and patient to the children you have contact with.

What are you holding onto from your past? Why not give it to God so that He can give you new life.

This week try turning to God in prayer with all your anxieties. He wants us to come to Him for help.

Here is a challenge…Live like you were dying.

Our words are like a fire. They will either warm others or burn others. Watch your words this week.

When tough times hit, we see who are true friends are. Will you take the time this week to be a true friend?

Are you known to others as a Giver or a Taker?

Does your anger control you, or can you control your anger? Think that over this week.

If you could change one thing in your life this week, what would it be?

If you were to die today what would you be remember for?

Do you believe you can change? If yes, then give someone a second chance this week?

This week let others see your Wisdom in your steps of Integrity.

If you find yourself in a queue this week, say a kind word to the person in front of you.

What does God see when He looks at your motives?

Are you giving God your best performance?

Which one do you need to work on this week:  faith, hope or love?

Are you proud of the trail you’re leaving behind for others to follow? If not it’s time to make changes.

Read again the quote and verse above. What do you think of Jesus’s definition of love?

Do you have healthy coping techniques?

Who do you turn to in times of trouble? Our Creator loves it when we turn to Him.

How would you describe your emotional heart? Hard and cold or soft and open?

Do you know of someone who needs checking on this week? If so do it! As this weeks story shows, you might be saving a life.

When our broken world breaks your heart, what do you turn to? Or to Whom should you turn?

Do you really believe people can change? If yes, then give someone a chance this week?

This week let’s free ourselves up, by letting go of the bitterness we are holding on to.

Do you understand the power of your words? This week let’s use that power for good, not evil.

What kind of seeds are you sowing? Are you ready to see them grow?

Is there someone from this past week you need to forgive?

Let’s give comfort and compassion this week to those we come in contact with.

This week why not read the Bibles definition of Love. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

What would you say today is your most valuable treasure? Is it a person or a thing?

Why not ask God this week for HIS wisdom and see what He shows you?

This week look at yourself. Are you so consumed by how others are living their lives to the point that you’re missing out on living yours? If you are, what needs to change?

Have a good look today at your foundations. What are they built on? Do you need to do some rebuilding?

Write down 20 things that you can be thankful for this week.
When things don’t go right this week, stop and read that list and refocus.
Being thankful can make a big impact on our lives.

When change comes this week. Don’t be afraid. Look at it again with new eyes.

Before you say something this week, THINK!  Is it:
True? Helpful? Inspiring? Necessary? Kind?

Don’t forget the 14th. Do something special, for that special one.

Everyone comes with baggage. Find someone this week who loves you enough to help you unpack yours.

What do you want to be remembered for?
